Women Empowerment through SHGs in Kakori

Empowerment of women is a process in which women, half of our population, challenge the existing norms and culture, that restricts them from coming out into the mainstream. The participation of women in Self Help Groups (SHGs) makes a significant impact on their empowerment both socially and economically. SSRE in its initiative to empower women is conducting livelihood programs for its SHGs in Kakori, District Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.

Talk on Domestic Violence was organized at Kalyanpur, Lucknow. More than 20 girls and women attended the camp and discussed their issues. 

Say No To Tobacco

SSRE and Vinayak Gram Udyog Sanstha jointly organized a campaign on "Say No To Tobacco" on 30th May 2017 in Hazratganj, Lucknow. Many dignitaries and organizations strongly supported the campaign. Free sugar test, BP test, and muscles test were done.
